Casa Serena was born from family, faith, and a calling to serve.

As a nurse-led, family-operated six-bed subacute facility, Casa Serena was created with a simple but powerful belief: medically complex individuals deserve both clinical excellence and the warmth of a home. After years of serving in healthcare and witnessing the gap between hospital discharge and safe placement, our family felt called to build something different — something more personal, more attentive, and more dignified.

Guided by the scripture, “Serve one another humbly in love” (Galatians 5:13), we founded Casa Serena to bridge the space between hospital and home. We wanted a setting where residents are not numbers or room assignments, but individuals known by name, cared for with intention, and treated like family.

Every detail of Casa Serena reflects that vision — an intimate six-bed environment, hands-on skilled nursing, and leadership that is present and personally invested. Our family works alongside our clinical team to ensure every resident receives high-acuity care with compassion, integrity, and respect.

For us, this is more than a facility.

It is our mission.

It is our home.

It is our promise to serve.
